No spoilers from me I promise, but turn away if you don’t even want to know General thoughts.

Thought it was fantastic. Long movie with a lot of information to take in, but the payoff is unbelievably good. Need to see it again to figure out where it ranks in my MCU pecking order, but I know it’s near the top, if not the very top.

Do I need to watch Captain Marvel before seeing it?

Not really, as long as you’ve seen the post credits scene which is very openly out by now. Think Marvel even officially tweeted it out the other day. Captain Marvel is not in Endgame all that much.

I thought it fell flat in some areas but I'm not invested in the Marvel movies either.I'll leave it at that so no spoilers.

Yea, Captian Marvel isn't that much of a factor.

I will say that it’s a movie you can’t go into cold or you’ll be lost. You need to have seen at least most of the MCU movies.

First two thirds there’s a lot going on and a lot of information to process, so if you’re not invested in the story archs I can see where you may think it falls flat. The last hour takes it to another level though and is incredible to watch.

Good not great. Better than average for a Marvel movie which makes me wonder why I'm not calling it great. I think the opening being so slow and me being tired hurt it.

My thoughts....

This is copy so not to spoil anything...

This is copy so not to spoil anything...

I went in expecting Infinity War 2 with similar action, but was kinda caught off guard. It turned out to be Ocean's 11 heist and a LOTR epic battle. Once my expectations adjusted during the first half, I enjoyed it a lot more. The more I've thought about it, I've gone from "it was good" to "great." I'm glad we have closure—patience paid off.

I want to see it again tonight, but I have to wait till Sunday. Soooo much to unpack from this film.

I hope the Russo brothers are permanently done with the MCU.

Curious to know why you hope that. The four movies they’ve directed (Endgame, Infinity War, Civil War, Winter Soldier) are all good. Depending on who you ask, they might be the four best MCU movies period.

Oops, I meant I hope they aren’t done. Because like you said, they do an amazing job.

NON SPOILER REVEW

Go see it. #dontspoiltheendgame

Honestly, go see it if you liked any of the Marvel movies. It pays them ALL off quite well. My audience cheered, clapped, shouted, cried several times during the movie and applauded at the end. I have only seen this happen when I watched Return if the Jedi on opening night with a huge Star Wars crowd. I saw this with my sons, whom I have watched them all with in the theatres and at home.

It was sincerly fun, bittersweet and hit the landing.

I'm going back to watch again later this week.

It was good, but it wasn't as good as Infinity Wars.

I might agree, as Endgame starts pretty slow. While IW is non stop from the get go, and brought a lot of the characters together for the first time.

But the final battle in Endgame was super epic and loaded with awesome moments.

I can’t decide which one I like better just yet.

Semi spoiler response

You must have been a fan of Thanos. I was a huge fan of Cap because I like the underdog.

I though they paid off every character without getting too hokey.

Just give me one spoiler: is it true they defeated Thanos by having Ant man crawl up his butt and then enlarge himself?

Thor Ragnarock, followed by the first Guardians are the best of the MCU. Endgame was good, not great in my opinion.

Going in, I figured the ant man with his quantum universe and the magician man would be the path to victory. So nothing really surprising. A little too much PC for me.

Well I’ll be the first one to say I was disappointed in this film. I thought there were many holes in the writing and they didn’t capitalize on the success of Captain Marvel (only in about 40 minutes total) in a 3 hour movie.

Then they cram way too much into the last 30 minutes of the movie.

I loved it. They ended the series very well

Was not expecting the movie to be laid out like that and was thrown off in the beginning. Once it was over, i really enjoyed how they did it that way. I figured Ant Man would play a big role after I saw Ant Man and Wasp but I was not expecting it to be that easy once they discovered how to use the quantum realm. My only con was I didn't care for how they portrayed Thor. He was probably my favorite throughout the whole series. I liked "bad *** Thor" not "fat *** thor".

They filmed Captain Marvel after 90 percent of End Game was filmed. They did most of End Game the same time they did Infinity War.

I thought it was fantastic from start to finish. Having seen all the side movies helped me keep up with the middle parts.

Eta. A little pissed also. I’d avoided spoilers until last night. Was reading a draft article and the first comment was some dick nozzle throwing out spoilers. Hope they get super gonorrhea.

Took my son and his friend to see it today. It was awesome, but I totally disagree with you.

I’m not going to spoil anything, but she had a major role in the movie in the 1st 10-minutes and she had a major role at the end...

I have not seen the Captain Marvel movie, and was wondering who in the hell that super powerful chick was in her 2 scenes. Luckily my 9-yr old son knew...

Just saw it a 2nd time. Infinity War is much more re-watchable with more action than Endgame. The heart strings were pulled just as hard the 2nd go-round. I can’t get enough of the last battle.

Yes. In pure Disney form of pushing the homosexual movement, Ant Man actually sits atop the penis of Thanos' gay lover, and well, you know the rest.

i agree, however, they could not have done a better ending. they absolutely nailed it. it had kind of a hard time getting started, but it was still a really good movie.

I loved that they managed to get in a couple more Community cameos with Chang and Shirley. That makes five by my count. Now we just need Jeff and Pierce to round it out. I'd also settle for Starburns and Fat Neil.

And a strong soundtrack

the spot they picked to play Dear Mr. Fantasy was perfect. Like Rubberband Man In Infinity War.

Did not unseat Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure as my favorite movie about time traveling.

Well, then, I may pay to see THAT!

It took me 10 days to get through Infinity Wars on Netflix. What a cluster17 soozefest. I need to set aside plenty of time to absorb Endgame. If only it had Deadpool in it....

I saw it last night with my wife, and holy crap, I shed many tears. Every once in a while, I have shed a tear in a movie, but nothing like that. I think it is probably because where my wife and I are in our lives. We have 3 boys and are praying about trying to have one more, hopefully a girl, but we are also concerned about our health, especially mine. I don't want to leave my family without a husband and dad. Just thinking about that little girl without her d... oh crap, where is that dang kleenex box?
