This is not meant to be a shot at poultry farmers…. But I think a lot are barely making it even without flu being an issue. Most of the farmers I see around here are with Sanderson farms and it’s just not a good deal. They don’t get paid nearly enough and can seemingly have the rug yanked out from under them at any time by SandersonThat could bankrupt a lot of farmers if they can't get it eradicated.

I used to be pretty familiar with Sanderson farms from working with them in the banking world. I don’t know as much about Wayne farms. I do know they are owned by Cargill, which is pretty much a universally hated company. I believe cargill may be the largest privately owned company in the world.
