Titanic exhibit is pretty cool, bluff mountain adventures to rent an ATV for a trail ride, there is a train on the North Carolina side that's good for a scenic ride, ripleys aquarium, and small parks with rides. If you plan a week and are not a hiking and scenery type guy, get ready to get bored after day 3.

ClimbWorks Canopy. It's a zipline course about 15 miles outside Gatlinburg. It runs about 85 bucks per person but is well worth it. It's actually up on the mountain and is not a zipline over a parking lot type deal. It's consistently the #1 rated attraction in the area on Tripadvisor.

Had a blast doing this last year - lots of fun and nice views. Told my folks about it, and Mom (mid-50s) enjoyed it when they went back later.

Wife and I also did a couple of hikes in the Smokies. The Chimney Tops trail is pretty steep, but only 2 miles. If you're in decent shape, it's not difficult. Beautiful views at the top, especially early in the morning.

We did the Laurel Falls walk last summer and there was a black bear and her cub about 20 feet off the trail. <div>
</div><div>Do the drive to and thru Cades Cove and stop wherever the crowd gathers. Sometimes they'll stop for no damn reason to look at any critter, but a larger crowd usually means a bear.</div>

Go to the ice skating rink and break your hip. There is also a concrete luge up there that is pretty fun. Take the sky trolley up and scream and jump the whole time to freak everyone else out.

Plenty of nearby opportunities to hike, tube, & raft. Went last week & noticed that The Chimneys trail is now closed Mo-Th. If you like looking at deer, turkey, & maybe bears, go to Cades Cove (recommend early morning or late afternoon). There are also elk on the other side of the park (near Maggie Valley) but don't know if they're out this time of year. A little googling will probably give you some more ideas. Don't know too much about the other touristry stuff.
