I was able to try it at the Scotch Whisky Society tasting party in Houston last year. I enjoyed it enough to buy a few bottles. A little sweet with a little spice. Drinks like a much more expensive bottle. Definitely good for the price.
Right now now I have been keeping some Blantons, Angels Envy, knob Creek Rye, and Noah's Mill in the cabinet along with a tour of Islay scotches. Just picked up the brand new limited edition Arbeg Supernova. If you like peat you will like that one.
