OT: Broken Plasma TV

About three months ago my son threw a toy and cracked the screen on the Plasma TV. Well it took three months before enough Oxygen got into the TV before the picture went out. I will not fix it; you can buy for just as cheap. I am just going to buy another TV. I was wondering what to do with a 50" break Plasma TV? Is there anyone in the Jackson area that buys them for parts or anywhere I can dump it and not go to jail? <O></O>

I suspect the only market would be as scrap, like computers and monitors, to reclaim the rare metals in it. And you'll probably have to just give it to a recycler. I suppose that's better than trashing it. Others may know better however.

Tape a picture of a deer or turkey on it and have target practice

otherwise an electronic recycler will have to do, but I think they'll charge you a fee
