If you are struggling with depression, hopelessness, anxiety, guilt, control issues, feeling “something simply isn’t right”, or suicide thoughts, PLEASE reach out. Get help.

Reaching out IS NOT a sign of Weakness. It is totally a sign of strength toward becoming better.

Counsel, Spiritual Advisors, and Medical Professionals can help navigate the pain and rough times.

The family and friends who lose someone to suicide; the void, the pain and swirling questions truly never ends.

If you feel someone is struggling, DO NOT 2nd guess yourself. Meddle. Butt in. Get involved. You and they can work out the “mind your own business” stuff later.

Completely agree. And take the time to understand what depression actually is. It amazes me how many people have no clue what depression entails.

I reached out after the Clemson game and was put on hold!

In all seriousness the OP is correct, if you need help reach out until you find it.

Agreed. I lost my Dad in 1989 to suicide. Nobody in the family saw it coming, even though in hindsight, all the signs were there. Even all these years later, those of us left behind still have all the feelings of guilt, anger and other emotions. As the OP said, if you're even remotely considering hurting yourself, stop. Take a breath, and reach out. There are plenty of people willing and able to help.
