They tried something similar to her while she had all three of my boys with her. Ages 5, 2 1/2 and 1. The little two here in a stroller, and the oldest was being well behaved.
They tried to charge her a restocking fee, and something else that would basically have upped our family plan by 20 bucks a month, when all she was doing was getting an upgraded phone which she had agreed to pay the agreed price. When they said they wouldn't be able to help her, she asked for a manager, and then they told her that it would be at least 20 minutes. At that point, she asked my five year old to pretend he was a monkey in a jungle, and let the little two out of the stroller.
From what she told me, it was utter chaos. Our 2 1/2 year old is part dinosaur and he basically kept taking things off the shelves one rack at a time, while my 5 year old tried to find places to jump from, while my one year old just walked about the store trying to find adults to bite (he is a biter and routinely will bite legs, my wife and I basically our forced to pants), all while yelling at basically the top of their lungs, while my wife just sat there and responded to emails. Apparently 4-5 people in the store left within 2 minutes of my kids being released. Within 5 minutes the manager arrived, he waived all fees, and let my wife pick a new case for her phone at no charge.
My recommendation, get little kids, get them hopped up on mountain dew and go up to the store and you will get grandfathered in.
