I'm looking to buy a drone with a camera. Any suggestions? Would like to start out under $500 but definitely try to stay under 1k.

Taking your turkey hunting to the next level?

That would be awesome for scouting pastures.

I can tell you what brand not to get DJI Phantom...We had one for work and had problems with it out of the box and the customer service was about as bad as I have ever encountered. May have just been bad luck. We ended up sending it back.

Looking at possible getting the Phantom II for the farm. Supposed to be much better than the Phantom I.

Like DCD said. DJI Phantoms are the "prosumer" standard. Amazon carries them.

You will want to google 6 rotor helicopter. It has a camera mount. Was at a State game last year taking pics of the Junction and inside DWS. It's GPS guided meaning you can hover it in one spot for a long time. The mount is also the anti vibration kind. It all electric and I think the cheapest you can get into one is 700 bucks. That includes the 6 axis transmitter too I believe. After seeing the guys video I became interested. A lot of people were thinking they were seeing a UFO that night.
