If you see a charge from a company named East Coast Mobile on your checking account, find out which card number they used to withdraw the money and cancel it. It is a dummy company that shows phone number 912-289-0124. Apparently these scammers gained access to a large number of active debit card numbers and are using them to withdraw small amounts at a time from checking accounts. The charge I received was for $6.56. Luckily, I pay attention to my account activity or I would not have noticed it until they hit my account several more times. Taking a small amount at a time will slow the rise of suspicion. Google the phone number and you can read posts concerning this issue.
