I am reading outdoor magazine and there is an article about a guy named Jamie smith who owns a tactical training business in holly springs by the name of SCG International. He made millions off of govt. contracts as well as ripping some couple from Philadelphia, PA off for 12 million which they sued him over but have yet to collect.

He claimed to have been recruited by the CIA while at olemiss. Apparently, his whole super hero story is complete ********. Another hobby lobby perception story. Has anyone heard anything about this? And is this the training facility that a SEAL was killed at a few years ago?

is this some of Dickie Scruggs' family?

A military style training course you can take in a week? Cool! In Holly Springs, MS? GTFO.

blackwater brands him a fraud and dumps him but the Air Force gives him millions. I'd say that's right on the money as far as government contracts go.

And someone with obvious Narcissim Personality Disorder gravitated to UM? Shocking to say the least.

I finished the article and the couple that he took the money from had just sold their family business for twelve million and he and another guy conned them into giving Smith the whole damn thing. Smith then put some of the money toward the business, but also bought a beachfront home in Hawaii, bought his wife a mercedees, upgraded her engagement ring, and other typical olemiss ********. And get this, he bought a plantation in the Holly Springs area.

I could have

told you it was BS as soon as I heard "recruited by the CIA at Ole Miss." That just doesn't happen.

Also, the training facility where many SF, various SRT/SWAT, and NSW guys use is Mid-South Institute in Lake Cormorant. John Shaw runs the place, and it is top notch. People would be surprised at the level of training that goes on there.

Because he was a student there the whole we was supposedly being Jack Ryan in Afghanistan, Libya and Iraq. He also sounds like the kind of Bible-thumping douche Freeze would have on speed dial.

They gave him all of their money because they thought they were going to be sued, and wanted to hide/protect their assets. Everyone in the story sounds a little shady.
