I wouldn't pay any money to an advisor and under no circumstances would I trust a broker (they make money by churning your account and/or kickbacks). You can do a lot better (after fees) by putting the money into any mutual fund with a 4* or 5* rating from Morningstar. Just do a little research on your own and put it into what you think is the best fund to suit your needs (timing of when you will withdraw, risk tolerance, etc.). You probably won't pick the best investment option out there, but you'll come close enough.
