Too many roles to mention. Real Genius was genius. He was in Top Gun. He played Jim Morrison. He WAS Doc Holliday.

Great actor.

Yes you did Val.

Kilmer imitating Brando was great in The Island of Dr Moreau

Disappointing that your second gif cut out before the apple explodes.

Julliard Drama School grad. He said in an interview that he was at first more disappointed than excited that he got the Top Gun Ice Man role, thinking it was not a serious part.

Dated Cindy Crawford, Angeline Jolie, Cher and Daryl Hannah. My hero....

Real Genius
Top Gun
Tombstone

3 memorable movies right there. He had a good run. RIP

PS In remembering Real Genius I can't help but think of how Lazlo, the middle aged scientist hiding in the wall, was played by Jon Gries 40 years ago! He also starred in Napoleon Dynamite and currently in the White Lotus series.

Tombstone is excellent, really very very good. Real Genius is a lark. I’d forgotten that he was in Heat.
Tombstone is the only one of those three I’ve heard of. I’m not really a movie guy so I doubt I’ll ever see them.

Not a movie (or actor / actress) aficionado at all, and probably have seen far fewer movies than the average person, but he was also a supporting character in a very underrated movie (imho) called Deja Vu along with Denzel Washington, Jim Caviezel, Paula Patton, etc.

I haven't seen too many of his movies, but I can't believe he was better in anything than he was in Tombstone.

My wife and I have watched The Doors at least 10 times. His performance was award worthy imho.
