Anyone know if there’s any good priced corn down Highway 45? I’m driving back home today and was wanting to pick some up on the way.

A farm off the side of 45 just south of Biggersville has a machine that will dispense all you want. 5 gallon bucket or 55 gallon drum. Don’t matter. 8lbs for a dollar. Mitchell hill farms in the name of it.

I know that it’s legal and most people do it, but I still think it’s wrong for multiple reasons. I will never shoot a deer over corn. BTW, 5 year old bucks don’t stand over a corn pile in the day light. Chronic Wasting disease in our State so we make baiting legal. Not smart. Hey, but to each his own as long as it’s legal. It’s not hunting to me and never will be. My neighbors illegally put out corn right on their side of the fence and as far as I know we have never lost one of our larger bucks to them. Not interested in starting an argument about feeding corn here but it makes me sick to even think about it. Good luck to everyone for a safe and successful season.

Agreed. I still have corn out because it keeps the does on our property, which is good for the rut. Our neighbors put out corn, protein, food plots and sweet potatoes. If you don't compete, you won't see many deer. MDWFP will have to outlaw corn if they want to slow down CWD. BTW, I believe CWD has been in the deer herd forever, but is more common now due to concentrated feed put out by hunters.
