I was out clearing some pasture at deer camp last night. Not long after the blood moon came up I saw something about 150 yards in the distance at the tree line. It was walking upright but had a really awkward gait. It turned and looked at me....I took a video but since it was at night it was really grainy and I had digital zoom maxed out.

Saw it. My perspective was interesting in that a thin layer of clouds obscured half of the full moon horizontally. The bottom half was obscured giving the appearance of a fried egg. By the way, nice humble brag regarding 4 am gym class.
I didn't want people to think I got up just to look at the moon. I do go at 4:00 three days a week. I am on a two-day split. I work Legs and Shoulders on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and everything else Tuesday Thursday and Saturday. Less crowded in morning and I can get a good work out.

I woke up at 3:30 and failed to look out. This waking up in the middle of the night sucks. Never did this when I was young. Another old age problem I guess.

I dozed and watched it develop from about 2 to 5, and was able to get the my kids to come see it as it fully eclipsed. Wish I could figure out how to take a half decent iphone photo of it, but it was cool.

What time do you go to bed? Sleep is a part of health too!***
I go to bed when I get sleepy. Usually around 9:00 to 9:30. It's only three days I get up that early. Sometimes on Saturday during football season when we have a home game. I get plenty of sleep.

Good stuff! I was just messing around because I don't see 4AM on any days, at least not on purpose!

Got up around 4:45 to go run and saw it. Told my kids last night if it wasn't cloudy I'd wake them up - so I dragged them outside for 2 seconds, saw it and they immediately went back to bed, lol. I got my telescope and wanted to get a decent pic but by the time I went back outside it was covered by clouds.

I am already planning for the 2024 solar eclipse. Didn't travel to see the one a few years ago but I'm determined to see this next one. Hoping to drive over to Arkansas depending on the weather that day.

Noticed it about 5:45 a.m. yesterday morning but it was more yellow by then. Took a quick pic, had to get to work so quality wasn’t so good.

This morning that blood musta washed that moon clean, it was bright & clear! :)
