That was my reasoning for getting Directv stream...Youtube TV doesn't have Ballys and therefor can't watch the BravesIt’s not as user friendly, but it gets the Braves. I’ll probably drop it during the months of every braves off-season.
It’s not worth it to me. I didn’t like it. I think you’re better off getting Hulu and SlingDoes anyone use Directv streaming app? Just wondering if it's worth it to switch from Youtube TV
I’ve got the latest Apple TV and DTV Stream is quick. I used to have true DTV satellite. Had it for years. The Streaming version is better. I get everything for half the price I used to pay for satellite. It also helps that I was one of the original subscribers, so I have a subscription that apparently is no longer offered.I did a free trial of DTV Stream a few weeks ago and it was ok. My biggest complaint was that it was slow to respond when I tried to do anything on the menu. I canceled regular DTV yesterday after one of my promotions expired and they didn’t offer anything else. I’ll be going with YouTube TV. A friend of mine is going to add me to his account and I’ll pay him around $15 a month and I’ll also give him my login for HBO Max. Another friend of mine gave me his login info so I can still watch the Braves so I’m good to go.
I was at a beach house that I thought didn't have any TV service when I tried it with a regular Firestick so maybe that's why I found it a little slow. At home, I have a variety of software options, but Apple TV isn't one of them. Yesterday was my first full day with YT and so far, so good. My only complaint right now is that YT doesn't give you the option to record first runs only of shows which will be a bit of a pain when marathons are on and my DVR if full of stuff I've already watched.I’ve got the latest Apple TV and DTV Stream is quick.
