It's been an interesting evolution.......stated here without comment.
1. When this whole thing started, we were told they didn't do squat.
2. After a few weeks, we were told they were only good for keeping you from giving it to others.
3. Now, we are told they prevent you from giving it to others and also prevent you from getting COVID.
How dare scientists learn about a new virus after its only been around for 5 months. Idiots.

Stop watching MSNBC and CNN it will do wonders for you .......
I don't watch either one of them. I actually do my fact checking before posting not like a lot of people on this board that try passing off conspiracy theories as truth.

I have looked and found nothing. I do think people have a right to be skeptical given the fact that there was a lot of conflicting information on the use of masks early on and the "absolutely definitive" idea that they should be mandatory now.
To me a lot of what you reference can be laid directly at the feet of the 'proclaimed EXPERT' has not lived up to his 'billing'. Dr. Fauci has, IMO, been horribly unimpressive from the beginning of this crises. (Many may recall that I made such a call in the early spring, based on my decades of interacting with similarly over related medical beaucratic kingpin who have jockeyed a desk and paper work for a long career that saw clinical judgement and sound medicine become non existent in their lives. They are EXPERTS because they have risen to the height of whatever agency that head because the appeal to those, just like them, who have preceded them into the same positions and are empowered to name successors in the agencies. I say once more, he is a fraud and has gravely injured this Country. His poor decisions, proclamations, and judgement has warmed so many. His ineptness and the the fact that to not follow the advice of such a believed leader would have led immediately, to the view that our political leadership was seeking to govern unilaterally. HBe follows Fauci (and other such 'old heads') and gets blamed for allowing for less than a perfect outcome (especially in the minds of some from the opposing party and the media). To me, Fauci and those in similar positions in several other Government 'guiding' agancies have DIRECT responsibility' for any decision blunders that are being propagated by the Dems and media. A house cleaning of these folks from these agencies is well beyond being due.
