That statement is hilariously dishonest.

What we don't know is whether U. Washington crossed his palm with some additional green pieces of paper to get him to agree to stay on board. While his legal position may have been weak, the last thing U. Washington would want is protracted litigation over this.

I was wondering something like that with Miami and the Duke QB,
An under the table deal that doubles what Duke claims is theirs no matter where he plays , by having a booster pay his parents NIL money

Or his sister. This SI article suggests some rumored numbers for Mensah. It was written before the lawsuit but if Duke won’t let Miami pay his NIL, and since they’re already rumored to be recruiting his sister, they could always put the money in her name (assuming she can break her contact with Oregon).

Why did Duke enter him into the transfer portal only to sue later to stop him from entering the transfer portal?

Schools jump conferences even though they are contractually tied to a conference.
Coaches leave for more money even though they are under contract.
Players - YOU MUST HONOR YOUR CONTRACT.

Can't blame the players when the "adults" haven't done it.
Three wrongs don't make a right.

And you overlooked that when coaches leave, they are required to abide by the terms of their contract, for example, paying a buyout amount.

Same thing sir schools with grant of rights.

Totally different scenarios. Or mayne not. Contract clauses may still be enforced.

Then impose transfer fees like they have in the soccer leagues.
