But has anyone else turned the channel to "Finding Bigfoot" and then found themselves unable to change it?

When I am driving through a rural area now, I say to myself, "It's pretty squatchy around here."

I remember hearing this back in the day about "wrasslin". Then people realized that these shows were not claiming to be real and that they were just simply going the entertainment angle. After that it all made more sense.

YES! My 8-year-old daughter and I love that show. She says she wants a Squatch t-shirt for her birthday.

If I could use their methods of "definitive proof", I could retire early.

Funniest show on TV.
My 15 year old is past tired of my "looking squatchy around here" somewhere on the way to Starkville.
He's gotten some relief since we've quit doing River Road south of Hamilton AL.

Yeah I like the show ... but it's pretty much the same every week. What's funny is I think the 3 male characters really believe it all. Not sure about the gal. But they never, ever find anything and make some of the craziest assumptions and statements about bigfoot activity as if it's known fact. Another thing I've noticed ... when one of them goes "solo" camping in the woods ... it's not solo. There's always one or two cameramen with them.

There are some other shows kind of along the same vein ... the failed "Finding UFOs" on NatGeo and another one on SciFi that I ran into a few nights ago but haven't seen since. Can't remember the name ... something about Fact. It's actually a much better program than Bigfoot.

But yeah, I watch it. And I watch UFO shows. They're more entertaining than the other junk that's on TV nowadays.

Yeah they always believe the eye witness accounts and the chick always explains why it's not Bigfoot. They go to stupid places like Connecticut. They should stay in the northwest where it's actually remotely possible to have something like Bigfoot really exist. It's still a funny show to watch.

Hadn't heard about the "sighting" behind the USS&RC. Must've been on the Redstone golf course? I've played there many times and never heard any howls ....

If you go to the sound clip page for BFRO there is the "Mississippi Howl". Supposedly recorded somewhere around Camp Shelby.

Played the old 18 at Redstone many times as well.
Saw skunks, groundhogs, and a coyote, but no 9ft tall 800# apes.
Pretty sure I was used as a target for an infrared device on a helicopter one cold winter day.

You left out snakes ... plenty of those on Redstone.

The guy in the Marriott probably had had a few too many ....
