OT: Falling Skies season premiere

Anyone else catch it?

Seems that they've added a few actors as semi significant parts of the cast (Dude that played the teacher in The Killing, dude that plays Henry in Sanctuary). Also, it's pretty clear that Pope is the Darrel Dixon of this show (not really good or bad, loves killing the enemy, rides a motorcycle, body part necklace, is my favorite character). A bit wary of the fact that romance seems it could be a big part of this season (Hal and badass chick, young nurse and the new guy, along with Tom and Glass).

I thought it was an alright start to the season. Certainly seems that a central point of this season will be if the aliens really have a hold on Tom.

Their budget must've been increased. The CGI was much less cartoonish last night.

I thought it was going to become some ploy to create sympathy for the Skitters, to "understand their feelings". However, when he back at the start of the second season, it's showing they've made acommitmentto a good old-fashioned slam-bang war against the alien race. <div id="isChromeWebToolbarDiv" style="display:none"></div>

be a badass who kills skidders and everyone loves him or a traitor. The looming backstab that he will eventually commit is annoying.

Otherwise I liked the opener. The love **** will likely play too big of a role over time for me.

 

[Optimus Prime 4]

The turning into a skitter process. He can be like Wesley Snipes in Blade, part vampire but hates and kills them. Also, why is Karen not changing, she still has a harness?

Better start to this season than last it seems so far.
