I20 to Jackson, down to Brookhaven and over on 84?
I59 to Laurel, 84 from Laurel to Natchez?

Doesnt hwy 29 cut from Crystal Springs to Natchez or something?

I would say your second choice I-59 to Laurel then straight across on 84.

much less traffic and better roads, I-20 west is screwed up in Jackson as well as I-55 South toward Byram.

Hwy 28 cuts from Hazlehurst to just west of Meadville then 84 to Natchez. But 28 is a 2-lane road. Best bet would be 59 to Laurel then 84 to Natchez. 84 should be 4-lane the whole way (or at least close to it).

I'd go 59 to 84. Less traffic, can prob make better time. But watch out for those unmarked police cars...

I-55 South from Jxn to Byram has been repaved recently... it's fine. However, I-59 > Hwy 84 is probably the best bet.

I 20 to Jackson, go Hwy 18 through Raymond and on to Port Gibson, then Hwy 61

I20 to Jackson, down to Brookhaven and over on 84?

Just another idea.

Too many stoplights on 18 in South Jackson and I'd think traffic in Laurel would be a bit slow what with several stoplights on 84 (16th avenue mostly) until you get out of Calhoun.

I'd take 20 to 55 south to Brookhaven then 84 to Natchez.
