You’re generally safe taking a dump at most chain gas stations but for food Fastbreak in Starkville is really good and Jordan’s out by the dirt race track between Starkville and Columbus is fantastic. They do fried rib tips that are amazing.

Krazy K's is my one stop going to Mobile or Pensacola. Biscuits to die for.

Love's is my go-to. I joined their loyalty program recently after years of stupidly skipping that step on the pump.

I like Buc-ee's -- they are by far the best bathrooms. The car wash at the one in Calhoun, GA is entertaining. The vanilla creme soda is great.

But realistically, I pass a Love's every 100-150 miles in most of my driving. They are reliable and well-maintained.
