If they truly are "forever", why should we even worry about them? It seems like it would be like worrying about nitrogen in the atmosphere. PFAS may be something we have to accept as a hazard of life on Earth and move on.

Pretty substantial effects on the human body should cause some concern. Forget global warming, earth is gonna be so toxic nothing will be able to survive on it before it's too hot.

I don`t worry about that stuff, food additives, global warming(mostly a scam, not all of it), etc. Maybe I should some but there are too many other things I worry about that are bigger to me. I`ve made to 70 and my health is good(will probably regret saying that). On a food label the only thing I look at is calories, fat and saturated fat. I drink only diet soft drinks when I do, which is a couple or more a day. Usually 3 large cups of coffee. I`m vegetarian, have been for a long time. Just went on a fast walk, trying to do that more. That`s all of the exercise I get. Oh well - something will get me and all of us one day! I do feel much younger since they started showing the Sydney Sweeney ad. Sorry but I`m still a straight male - am I supposed to not find her attractive? Sorry if so.

I know about all of that and agree, humans (especially the Chinese humans) will probably make the Earth too toxic for life before too long.

My thought is; why worry too much about it if there is absolutely nothing we can do to remedy it. From the doomsayer articles I have read, microplastics are already in pretty much everything on Earth and there is really no way to remove them. Humans will evolve to accept them in our bodies at some point if we live that long as a species.

I don't find Sweeny that attractive. She and Katy Perry are less than average without the bosoms. I could trans and add big ones and probably get endorsement deals too. I try to avoid salt and sugar. Been working out for a long time now and my body is not reacting the way I would hope it would. I have more pain now than ever. Not sure if its from working out too much over the years. 8th grade to now, 48. One of my big problems is drinking enough water. I can't drink 64 fl oz of water to save my life, but can put down 64 fl oz of beer in less than 2 hours easy.

I find Sweeny plenty attractive but at my age, 64, my standards are low and flexible. Katy Perry was pretty hot back in the "California Girls"/"Teenage Dream" years but she hasn't aged particularly well and her face is now sort of odd looking.
