RIP Dream Weaver.
Did not appreciate several things about Gary Wright that you probably know.

He collaborated with George Harrison, playing keyboard's on the 1970 All Things Must Pass. He also established Spooky Tooth. His autobiography: Dream Weaver: Music, Meditation, and My Friendship with George Harrison.

Did not realize he was a child actor on Broadway and on Captain Video and His Video Rangers.

He studied to become a medical doctor, thinking music was an unstable career --it is!!! He moved to Europe to complete his studies, but abandoned those plans in 1967.

He said this about the song Dream Weaver: "It's a very spiritual song. 'Dream Weaver' is really a song whose lyrical content is about the consciousness of the Universe: God moving us through the night – delusion and suffering – into the Higher Realms."

RIP.
