McLaurin is the heart and soul of the Commanders. They should err on the side of caution and pay the man.Man, he would look good in the Black and Yellow opposite DK.

Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin has requested a trade, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.www.espn.com
Based on the reports of his asking price, think they're doing what they need to do for now. It's an important next 4 years while Daniels is on the rookie contract, and spending wisely will pay dividends down the road. I love McLaurin, but he isn't Chase or Jefferson.McLaurin is the heart and soul of the Commanders. They should err on the side of caution and pay the man.
The flip side to that is, you have your franchise QB on the cheap…for now. That allows you to pay the weapons around him. That’s what SF did. Now, it’s time to pay Purdy and they have to let some guys walk or trade them. Washington should be all in right now.Based on the reports of his asking price, think they're doing what they need to do for now. Wheels appear to be flying off the wagon here in Dallas with cowboys and Micah. Sounds like Micah and JJ had a deal this summer, then his agent stepped in and tried to change terms. Either way, nothing like self inflicted cowboy drama

Reclass.I just saw that McLaurin is already 30 with just five years in the league. He was 24 as a rookie. What’s the deal there?
Until both sides sign there is no deal or contract. If Jerry/Stephen thought that they are fools (which we all know anyway)Wheels appear to be flying off the wagon here in Dallas with cowboys and Micah. These a holes don’t learn from their own mistakes. They were getting skewered last year on XM for the CeeDee fiasco. The same guys were warning them openly not to do the same thing with Micah. Idiots.Until both sides sign there is no deal or contract. If Jerry/Stephen thought that they are fools (which we all know anyway)
Agree, plus even if ESPN moves into doing a college football version of it, you can bet that overwhelming period of time on that channel will be spent with SEC teams. All this means to me is that any viewing subscription service with ESPN as part of it will have a big price hike coming.I was extremely disappointed to see that ESPN has acquired the NFL Network. I stopped watching ESPN years ago and NFL Network seemed like a much better product for NFL coverage.
I like the specialty sports channels. NFL Network, MLB channel, NHL Network, BTN. . I like tuning in and getting quality coverage for exactly what I want to hear rather than waiting for the reporting on tennis, soccer, and basketball to get a short blurb on what I am interested in. My one caveat is that I can’t stand Kyle Brandt on the NFL Network. The second that tool comes on the screen I am changing the channel.Agree, plus even if ESPN moves into doing a college football version of it, you can bet that overwhelming period of time on that channel will be spent with SEC teams. I’m hoping that the production standards for NFLN will remain unchanged. No reason to think it’ll be so other than inertia is a thing.I like the specialty sports channels.
