Seth Emerson of Dawgnation is reporting that Georgia may land in the Texas bowl. However, the article also seems to indicate that Georgia's fate is likely at the mercy of the SEC office.

To be honest I wouldnt mind that bowl, but history shows they ususally pull a western division team. But I have no idea where we will end up, could be any of 4-5 places.
Doesn't make sense to me. Texas A&M or Ark should be their choice. IMO GA in Belk against NC would be a good matchup.
They already played UNC, that's the problem.
And they just played Georgia Tech (likely ACC team for our TaxSlayer Bowl).
I think this is the year UGA gets "the treatment". They have gotten some good bounces in the past on bowl selection, but I see this ending up Liberty.
It won't be Arkansas, but Texas A&M is the favorite for the Texas Bowl. Georgia is a distant 2nd for that bowl
