Don’t forget the merits of mail order Viagra to keep us from falling out of the bed at night!

I had a line around the side of my torso. Just got some Valtrex and it was gone in about a month. No pain, itching or burning.

Gents

Only thing worse than watching the game last Saturday was watching it with the shingles. These things suck. I wouldn't even wish them on an Ole Miss fan! Get the vaccine.
"Getting old" ain't for the faint of heart, that's for sure.

After the pandemic delayed a lot of "routine" and recommended practices, its been a year of vaccines (COVID, Shingles, TDP booster, flu) plus the wellness stuff (e.g. colonoscopy, etc.) for me personally.

All this stuff is motivation to eat better and exercise more frequently. Hell, I've even scaled back on my bourbon consumption the last year to about 2 cocktails a month.

Godspeed, man...live to fight another day

I had it as a freshman in high school. it was so bad they put my picture in medical books. I had it on my right side from my collar bone down to my right knee. basically draw lines down the middle of my chest and down my back bone and fill it in with shingles. Luckily it wasn't on my man parts. It happened while I was trying to make the high school baseball team. One day last week of tryouts I didn't realize that it was bleeding and the coach noticed it. He pulled my shirt up and and said, hell anybody that can play through shingles that bad gets a jersey.

I had just had sex for the first time a few days before it first started appearing, so you can imagine what was going through my head. As far as pain, I have broken my arm twice where the bones where poking out, and broken bones at least 8 other times, had a double hernia, and the only thing that compares is migraines.

Update: few weeks in, no ill effects from the final dose of vax except my third eye is still blind

This board is getting old. Can’t wait for another 19 years. Potential topics will be poli-dent, adult diapers, and orthopedic shoes.
