The atmosphere at those shows was off the hook. So blessed to attend both shows.

Watching these got me all nostalgic. This is my favorite bluegrass picker, Tony Rice with an absolute all star band including a young bela fleck.

It's worth watching just to see Sam Bush nearly blow his load at the end of Tony's 2nd solo.

It was also announced earlier today that Bela's doing two Bluegrass Heart shows the day after Thanksgiving at the Bluegrass HOF in Owensboro. Sam will also be there as are Jerry Douglas, Edgar Meyer, Stuart Duncan, and Bryan Sutton. Tickets are on sale now for those interested: Link.

I've got kinfolk in Evansville so I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't thinking about combining a music trip and seeing family.

I’ve listened to him for a few years now but finally got to see him at FloydFest up here in VA at the end of July. He was by far the best show of the weekend and had more people show up to his Thursday night set than the lame *** Avett Brothers had on Saturday night.

Take any chance you have to see him, he’s blowing up.
