this may be a little OT but this kid was a great lacrosse player at Marquette and he played at Bridgewater in NJ. Anyone know Why he left Marquette? I thought Rutgers had a pretty good pipeline into Bridgewater. Does anyone know if he considered going to Rutgers at all. Seems like he would have be a great fit for a program that lost two starting defensemen.

I didn't ask but I wouldn't be surprised if we were in the mix.

Sure one of the board members could speak to this event.

Gotta think he wants a chance at a national championship. Sadly, NJ kids are just so fickle. I am convinced we could win a NC and Jersey kids would still be a hard get.

His coach left for Navy. I am sure that was a huge factor in leaving.

Meanwhile, we have one of our own, Jules, is turning into one of the best players in the world.

Could be as simple as that since Bridgewater has been that pipeline as mentioned by @asgot

* Younger son has become a big fan of the PLL and a HUGE fan of Jules. Sends me all of his highlights.

Good guy to be a fan of. He works really hard, is very talented, and is an overall humble, nice kid.

That showed when our whole family was cheering for him when the PLL had some games at Red Bull Arena earlier in the season.

Good for him.

He has a ton of upside. He's very young for being a second year pro.

He's put on 20 lbs of muscle in the last year. Wait until he hits his prime years. Barring injury, he is going to be an absolute monster in a few more years. He's a solid 6'2" plus, 205. When he graduated from RU he was 185. Kid is putting on man muscle. I could easily see him playing at 220 and not losing any speed if not gaining quickness.

It's been really fun to see him mature from a freshman to now, as it has been with a number of other guys.

Forgetting the on the field stuff, there are tons of kids that are in and have come through the program to be very proud of.

Sadly lacrosse players are somewhat like the football players we are going after. Rutgers is beneath them
