Since there was a decent amount of y'all that indicated you have a guitar I got curious. How about some pics.

This Seagull is the one I play the most currently.

This is it's 12 string cousin. I like Cedar top acoustics.

This is my newest guitar. I am getting it for my 65th birthday in a few weeks. Can't play it until then. It has been a Holy Grail for me. 2001 Takamine EAN40C. Again solid Cedar top.

I do have a few others that are not as special.

I got one of the small concert cedar tops from the guitar place in Starkville when they started carrying them (92 probably), it was my first "nice" guitar. Pretty much burned my loan check for the semester so we got a 20 pound bag of pintos and lived on bean burritos for a couple of months. I still have it, and talked my wife into a couple of Taylors a few Christmases ago. They had a deal where you bought one of the nice ones and got a short-scale travel for a few hundred bucks. That baby Taylor is a great guitar.

I have the black Takamine Bruce Springsteen. I love it. Holds a tune better than any other guitar I’ve had.

You got one of these too Bruce, you like me lived through thousands of ads for this thing? For you youngsters the ads for this thing played 10x as often as the Skyrizi, Ozempic, ones that run today

I had a 1970 Gibson SG, 1976 Gibson SG and a copy of that guitar made by Electra. They belonged to my day who died in 1977. All three got stolen. I really believe it was my half-brother who took them and pawn them. No proof. Never mind the monetary factor, they belonged to my dad and can't get them back.

1966 Martin-D35. When my great uncle passed away my mom and dad were cleaning out his stuff in Helena Arkansas and found this guitar. Ended up being give to me, as I'm the only one who plays, when I was 19 years old. Had no idea what I even had until I took it in for a tune in Starkville and the guy at backstage music told me to only take it a Martin specialist and explained what I had. Literally never have to tune this thing and it sounds better than anything else I've ever played. Brazilian Rosewood is killer.

Also have a Raines hollow body electric
Hohner acoustic
Seagull acoustic

Side note - My brother-in-law's dad has a sick 1965 Fender Jazzmaster.

That D35 is awesome, and yes, you have a gem there, congrats and cherish it. If possible, post a pic of the back......love the wedge on back of a D35.

I don't have an electric but I've got a Taylor Big Baby. Also have a very, very old one at home that my mother said her great aunt used to play on Memphis radio back in the late 20's. I THINK it's a Gibson with f holes in it. I need to do more research. And, while not a guitar, I have this very model mandolin at home with the hard case and tuning harp. https://jakewildwood.blogspot.com/2019/08/1920s-lyon-healy-style-two-point-carved.html

Nice pics Bruce! And great topic, curious to see what other folks have.

Here's my recently updated man-cave wall :
The acoustic in the middle is my 95 Alvarez Yairi, which is probably my favorite because I've had it the longest and I spent all my co-op savings on it.
I got my Les Paul Studio in 1996, then that Vantage hollow-body in 1999 (not sure what year it is and it looks nicer than it plays). Then didn't get another electric guitar til I got my PRS last year, and then figured I needed a Strat a few weeks ago (but it's from 2016).
That 3/4 acoustic guitar is beautiful, custom made, got it for my 20th anniversary present, Koa wood and Colorado "beatle kill" wood w/ other stuff.
Then a Fender Jazz bass which I like but am not very good at playing.
And that is Willie's autograph on the picture disk :)

If the Great Aunts guitar is an old Gibson, definitely go to the right place if it needs to be reconditioned. Could be worth quite a bit.

I second the baby Taylor love. My buddy has one and it's fantastic. I've got a Martin X series that I really like
