Head down the Gulf Beach Hwy toward Perdido. Keep on keeping on through Perdido Key and go over the intercoastal bridge (that goes by the Lost Key Golf Club). On the other side of the bridge, there will be a place to hang a left when you come off the bridge. Take it and follow that road until it dead ends at Perdido Bay Seafood. They've got boats that come in throughout the day with all sorts of fish. Freshest and best in the area if you want to take some home to cook. I was looking for some snapper one time but there was none on the ice. They told me to hold on, went out to a boat that had just come in, walked back in, held up a snapper and asked if this would do. Hell yeah. Fileted it and I was on my way. Or, just get a bunch of shrimp. We used to boil it ourselves, but they do such a damn good job of steaming it that we quit. And pick up a key lime pie from the freezer. The girl there makes them herself and I've never had one better. And the jumbo lump crab comes in on Tuesday and Friday. Also on that road is a place called Fisherman's Corner. Never been there, but my parents have and rave about it. It looks like a shack, but you got to make a reservation. There's also some other little shack on that road, and if they have the sign up that says fried softshell poboys... get one.
Looking for a seafood break? Hub Stacey's on the point is awesome. Burgers, sandwiches, etc. Dive looking place on Galvez Rd. off of Innerarity Point Rd. (it's the 2nd left, after coming off that same bridge). Decent and cheap beer selection, good food, cool atmosphere with a nice deck, and throw some powerball tickets on your tab, too. Actually went to a mullet fry there once. Also, right around where the beach hwy turns, and before you get to the bridge, there's a Mexican place. Forget the name, and it looks worn out, but people go nuts over it.
Doc's does goodraw and onion rings. Papa Roccos for all sorts of oysters cooked different ways.
Ate at this place for lunch last time we were there. Nothing earth shattering but it was very good. Link:

Bottom line, you're best dinner options are getting fresh fish from Perdido Bay Seafood (Blaylocks if you have to) and cooking it yourself. Lunch is whatever. We love Hub Stacey's, but it can be fun to go to Tacky Jacks, get ripped up on bushwackers, and watch the boats roll in and out.
