As far as I know there's no rule against advertising a gun for sale here. And I don't think they've passed any national requirement for private sellers to insure a background check is done before selling. That's probably just around the corner though (and probably should be as far as I'm concerned).
Does suppressor = silencer? I'm not a gun nut, so I have no idea and don't speak the lingo. Might just be a flash suppressor as far as I know. If it's a silencer, why in the world would you want one? Aren't they illegal now, and have been for some time? Just curious.

diane, is that you? Seriously though, suppressors are good for hunting hogs and deer even. You don't have to wear ear protection and the particular gun that I want to put it on requires a suppressor to run well. Aside from all of that, they are cool as hell. You cant just go out and buy one, you have to file with the nfa, who will do a thorough background check and then license it to you. As far as the rules I was asking about, I was referring to dawgstudent's rules of the board.
Yeah, I was talking about DS's rules too. As I said, I don't think there are any rules against it. If there are, you'll find out soon enough.

No, can't say that I see eye to eye with her on any issue that I can think of. I did 20 years in the military (reserve) and never fired a gun except in basic to qualify, and once after that for pistol qual, but I'm not anti-gun, just anti-nut. Mostly pushed numbers on ship overhauls in the Navy.
