I had the TV on still while on my phone and apparently my wife thought Lady Gaga didn't have enough clothes on.

She has been making dumb comments ever since.

Personally, I can't stand the look of women wearing outfits like that (the lower half).

Give me the old rock stars over Lady Gaga every time. Kiss, Rolling Stones, Tom Petty.. Any of them over her. Especially without her wearing the meat coat.

I was actually pleasantly surprised. I wouldn't say I thought it was absolutely incredible or anything, but it was pretty solid; and with all the talk before hand about political statements, I thought the only "statement" part of the performance at the beginning was done pretty well and avoided being preachy to one side or the other. The lack of a Beyoncé appearance alone meant it was going to be better than last year's show.

Beyonce, Madonna, or Janet Jackson...I don't care who it is. All 3 suck, IMO. I would rather see Pink Floyd...and Pink Floyd for the most part makes me want to take a razor blade to major arteries..

She's an extremely talented singer. If you get the chance, watch her and Tony Bennett.

Also glad she didn't make it as political as I assumed it would be.

All in all, I was pleased with it!

I think pretty highly of her as an artist, but to be honest, I thought the half time show was a dud. What was really off putting to me is, I think she spent the majority of her stage time with her legs wide open like some kind of low class pole dancer. I thought it was extremely tacky.

she had one ok song, that just dance one...
maybe Im just old.
whats messed up is all the tunes I liked were 70's classic rock bands, and they never got a shot at the Super Bowl. zeppelin, skynard, eagles, floyd, etc...

Initially we were going to turn the channel before it started so-as not to help the ratings, but ultimately we decided to give her a chance, but with one finger on the remote ready to change as soon as it went political (IE-lecturing me for voting differently than she did) but to our surprise it never really happened and I thought she killed it personally. Uber talented and if she was singing live, better voice than I knew.

In recent years, Petty was the best. Prince was next. Bruno was good but i didnt know anything about him. Beyonce was the worst by far and away.
I want musicians who write and perform and sing their own music and instruments, could care less about choreographed dance, ive never understood why people think thats entertaining. A little is okay. Also dont get why weird=good but whatev.
Call me get off my lawn guy now.

It's just taste. Like it or don't like it who really cares.

This thread is like having a discussion about liking cauliflower. Some do, some don't, there isn't a right or wrong.

Does Lady Gaga still own a mansion outside of Omaha? In Louisville? Just asking. Personally, I don't watch the halftime shows. The game was tremendous however. I was going to bet on Atlanta and the unders but could not reach my bookie. Sometimes it is good to be lucky!
