OK, who’s seen it? Thoughts?

So far, the world seems to be split between ”I absolutely hate it” and “It was awesome.”

IMO, it’s what you’d expect out of any Sandler film. I’m a child of the 90s and have probably seen the original 100+ times. Lots of good connections to the original. And as a big golf fan, seeing the pros involved was fun, as was John Daly’s character.

Won’t win any Oscars, that’s for sure….but I enjoyed the nostalgia of it.

Watched it with the family Friday night and thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s not the original for sure but still funny. The cameos were great and the golfers really stole the show. Sheffler’s “not this again” when the cops show up was such a subtle great moment.

Loved it. It’s a Sandler movie. It’s supposed to be funny and dumb. Loved all the cameos. Sheffler and Will Zalatoris stole the movie. I thought it was funny they had LIV guys (ex. Brooks and Bryson) as part of the established tour. Also, they had Rory, Brooks, Bryson and Happy as four in the match. All long hitters. Sheffler was the lone normal hitter.

The golf sequences were filmed at Fiddler's Elbow in Bedminster.

I heard the opening minutes are a little rough but didn't want to be told why.

I read Nicklaus is in it in a funny bit??????

For any YouTube golf fans out there, Bryson Dechambeau just released a ‘break 60’ challenge with him and Sandler at Fiddlers Elbow.

It was good for the nostalgia more than anything, but the cameo's were great. Give Sandler credit, he always give his "guys" work.

Christopher McDonald has been in over 100 movies in his career but will always be remembered as Shooter McGavin. He's said after 30 years he still can't walk down the street in NYC or in airports without someone yelling Shooter and giving him the finger guns.
