OT: Has anyone out there ever had their Dog have Cushing Disease?

Just had my 8 year old Sheltie was diagnosed as having this Disease and will have to give it Vetoryl to treat it.

Vet told me it can be treated but not curable... Very expensive medication to boot.

Any information how there dog has done with this disease would be appreciated.

No experience with the disease, but definitely get the name of the medication and shop around for it...my dog has pannus, the medication that we originally got from the specialist was like $80/bottle, we found it online at california pet pharmacy for $20 - the exact same medication! Pays to shop around and do a little homework...good luck!
