The first 2 episodes do not disappoint. I guess I'll have to try that stout again. Hated it when I tried it 20 years ago.

If I can't have a stout with dinner at a restaurant, I dont have beer. I dont buy Guinness at restaurants though.

Monday Night Brewing has an awesome seasonal, but they didnt make it available in Augusta this year.

If you ever go to Ireland then try it. Big difference in the taste. Like comparing an ice cold Budweiser bottle to a Natty that has been sitting in the bed of a truck for the weekend.
I can confirm. I'm not really a Guinness fan, at all, but went and toured the Guinness factory in Dublin while there. The last stop on the tour is in the tasting room on the top floor with a great view of the city of Dublin and the sea. The Guinness there was really, really good. Came home, bought some, never finished it tasted very different.

Interesting note: The original lease on that land and factory signed in 1759 was/is 9,000 years at £45 per year..................

Try a black and tan. It’s half Guinness and half Harp. I don’t like Guinness alone but I like a black and tan.
But whatever you do…

DO NOT CALL IT A BLACK & TAN… ESPECIALLY if you’re in Ireland…

Just call it a Half and Half

Black and tan is considered to be offensive because…

Next thing you'll say is don't call a shot of Irish Cream and Irish Whiskey dropped into a pint of Guiness an Irish Car Bomb.

Taking troops to and from the Middle East, the rotator often stops in Shannon, Ireland. Returning from a particular country that didn't allow alcohol, even to westerners, we were hyped to drink some Guinness when we landed in Shannon. Wouldn't you know it, they were out!

That tour is my favorite that I have taken of a brewery. Cool building with a fantastic view of Dublin.

Guinness extra stout isn’t that bad. But there are way better options out there
Yeah. Irish stout. It's definitely not your typical British or American stout, but its dry, light profile definitely has a place and its advantages. You can drink about 10 pints is one.
