dle House is a poor substitute for Waffle House. Thoughts?

When I do hashbrowns and eggs, I stay with the best, so it's WH for me. NO better feeling in the world than topping a hill on the interstate at 3:00 in the morning, after driving 4 hours and seeing that yellow and black sign at the next exit.

Huddle house is horrible. We live in waffle house territory and theres multiple options...if for some reason the waffle houses are all full, we stop and get convenience store pastries instead of huddle it's that bad

Completely agree with one exception. The Huddle House in Senatobia is light years better than the Waffle House. At least this was the case as of about 15 years ago.

It’s tough staying fat and honing in fighting skills up here with no Waffle House or Sonic.

The Huddle House in Flowood is very good. Appears to be locally owned/managed and is always full.

To even question the superiority of Waffle House...

is blasphemy.

All-Star Special is my go to - cheese grits, eggs over light, with country ham. Maybe steak and eggs if I’m feeling fancy. Nothing better than a bacon, egg, and cheese sammich late in the evening.

It sucks the ones is Starkville have not planned out - it seems like WH tend to struggle when not on an interstate or in a place with a high-population density. I imagine to for a place to stay open 24/7/365, it needs a steady flow of customers through the day...not just a late night barrage.

Bay St Louis and Waveland each have one so if we can support 2 within 2 miles of each other, Starkville should be able to.
