Lost mine and live out of state now. Found the requirements to get a new one.

My question is have any of you dealt with this? How big of a pain will this be to get handled?

Do you have an old license? It's on there if so. If not, go online and buy a license and then you'll have it. That's what I did because I remember the process being ridiculous.

I've given it a few attempts

They have an online form to request a new card. My problem is that when it asks me to confirm my address it still shows the address that I lived in way back when I received my original card. I then proceed to fill out a form for a change of address to my out of state residence, wait 24 hours for them to update their records. But they never update it to my new address.

I could probably call and get it taken care of, but I always end up printing out the temporary card they offer when I need to buy a new License for the other states that I hunt, it's worked fine so far.

I just printed out the temporary card online and got my new license and haven't had to worry about it sense. Pretty straight forward.

Probably about 2 years or so ago I filled out the form and mailed them a check for the replacement card. I forgot about it and got to checking and turned out they never sent it but I was still able to get my license somehow. I did it again about a year ago and within two weeks I had a new fancy card. I guess it just depends on whose desk it rolls across.

Does your state require the actual card when buying a license? I've hunted in several states, and live out of state now, and all I've ever needed was the number.
