OT: hunting rifle stocks

Hey guys I'm currently upgrading my stock on my hunting rifle. I have a Sako 7 mag and putting a McMillan a5 stock on it. My question for y'all is, has anyone else upgraded their rifle stocks and if so what did you do with the old one? I'm wondering if the best way to try and sell it is either via gunbroker or ebay? Or did y'all hang onto it, maybe make some kinda cool home decor out of it? <div>

To a laminate thumbhole stock. I still have original. I know keeping the box that a gun comes in adds value if/when that gun is sold. I feel that providing original stock with gun and upgraded stock can't help but to add value when/if gun is sold.
