Long story but I took my family camping at Dismals Canyon over fall break. Cool place by the way.

Anyway, we were waiting on a tour to see the glow worms and I start talking to a guy and ask if he's local. He said he was a recent NYU grad but grew up in Boston, which sort of struck me odd. I asked what brought him to Alabama and he said he was touring the country researching for a book he was writing about moon trees from Apollo 14. I immediately said State had one, and oddly enough he'd just come from State the day before. He took pictures, did research while he was there, even mentioned he took a picture of the football stadium.

I told him the moon tree comes up from time to time and that I would certainly spread the word. He will contact me when the book comes out.

Nice kid, very impressed with him and he had great things to say about MSU (as he liked to call it).
