Seriouslly, I had no idea that UT & OU were playing yesterday until I flipped through and saw it.

This has to be the weirdest 17'n FB season ever.

i'm in central texas. was driving from houston to austin (home). had to stop because of rain and traffic. thought i would be able to watch the game in columbus texas (don't worry about where). texas ou was over. restaurant bar had one tv. 3 local a$$hats were in there and had the channel bogarted on the red river shootout postgame coverage. no game... just watch the coverage of a game they just lost... oh, and they were local too, 5 minutes to their house with maybe indoor plumbing and electricity?

i jump in the car to make the now 90 minute drive home. i scan AM stations that i could pick up. FOUR different english speaking broadcasts of baylor/tcu and one in spanish. i could only get updates on some talking head show. thanks to our late start, i got home to the TV at the start of the second quarter.

in texas, we had texas/ou... baylor/tcu....and om/atm... so no one here even knew there were games outside of the republic.
