A weekend exit road closure needs its own thread? They aren't closing an exit to Piscataway the weekend of a game.
No kidding, they just reconstructed that exit a couple of years ago. Hope it was still under warrantee (sarcasm).
My buddy is a contractor on the project. The engineering firm completely ignored doing a proper analysis of the ground makeup below the initial footings and they basically planted it in completely unsuitable ground. It lasted a week before it started to collapse.
Geez! They probably could have just eyeballed the area and figured that out from the start. That's crazy.
