Maybe lower teens tomorrow night where I am, and staying well below freezing all day Sunday. But it won't last long.

The past two winters, especially 23-24, were really rough on my zoysia. Extended sleet/ice on the ground, near zero, and last year was just snow but still really cold for about a week. The rest of the winter was relatively warm, so the cold had a greater effect on the grass since it was thinking about coming out most of the winter. Northern Mississippi won't be any better.

And it's only mid-December. Still a while to go. It's 10 right now in Chicago, and 57 here. Pretty major front coming.

Throw in 15mph winds from the north and tomorrow's going to be a hibernation day. 68 to 18 tomorrow night in Starkville. :(

Yeah, I’m going to winterize the RV tomorrow. Don’t need busted pipes right before a trip to Disney.

Zoysia grass struggled this spring in NE MS and Memphis area. It looked like it was still coming out of dormancy well in to May.

Mine's been spotty for two years. Since it doesn't spread fast at all, I've had to buy some sod to fill in spots. It's Zorro Zoysia and is never available until July, and it's no fun trying to do the work when it's in the mid and upper 90s.
