I know they have been discussed on this board in the past. It's really good stuff. They opened a new location in the building behind Kroger on Old Canton Rd (the one on the corner of Lake Harbor). The building they are in has been multiple restaurants (Keegans, Tequilas, etc...) and nothing can make it. I don't know the Jaco's guy but I'm really rooting for him to make it in that building.

It's pretty good stuff. Just saw where they have all-you-can-drink mimosa and bloody mary bar until 5 today.

I've been there. Its good. Real good. A lot better than I thought tacos could be.

I liked Tequilas too and thought it was some of the best Mexican in the Jackson area.

This area has a lot of real popular **** Mexican for some reason. I've heard second hand from a Hispanic owner of a former Mexican restaurant that the citizens around here are trained to like **** Mexican food and when good Mexican opens, they don't get enough customers. This looks to be true to me and can be the only reason El Portillo's stays in business.
