6th Floor Museum really is excellent and they've done a great job of using the new iPod guides that have become popular.

I'd also like to chime in say the museum is GREAT. Not an exaggeration - I've been to my share of museums in the US and abroad... And the 6th floor museum in Dallas is my favorite of ALL of them (probably becase I'm not a huge art fan, and this museum tells a great story). For those that don't know, it's on the 6th floor of the Texas Schoolbook Repository, where Oswald fired the shots. They still have the corner set up as it was in '63. You can look through the window and see the little "X" on the street marking JFK's position... It's cool, if not a bit creepy.

I went to Dallas before going to College Station a couple of weeks ago to visit some family, and I wanted to go see that place.

I am not a conspiracy theorist in anyway, but this is one event that is very easy to become a conspiracy theorist on. Of all of them I've heard, the Secret Service agent angle is the most plausible, but I still believe it was just one crazy Commie that wanted the president dead.

But yes, if you're in Dallas, the Sixth Floor Museum is a must. It's 16 bucks well spent. It's also self-guided so you don't have to worry about some nerd leading you through it. Looking out that window next to where Oswald shot from was pretty eerie.

There is a lot of confusing information that has been put forward as truth about the assassination of JFK. I don't think we will ever know precisely what happened. There were too many people at that time who hated JFK. The Southern segregationists had a bone to pick over Federal Marshalls roaming the South. Fidel Castro had been a target for assassination by the CIA several times and JFK had authorized the Bay of Pigs re invasion fiasco. The Cuban ex patriot population around Miami was seething in fury after their sons and fathers were left in the swamps with no air cover or backup at the Bay of Pigs. JFK's brother, Robert, had been targeting the Mafia. The CIA and Lyndon Johnson didn't want us to leave Vietnam, but JFK did. Lots of potential enemies.

Lee Harvey Oswald, in my opinion, wanted to do something that would make him (in)famous. His motivations could have been several. He may have been motivated by what he saw as assaults on his Cuban Communist brothers. He could have been used as a pawn by any one of the above. That has led me to believe, based on a lot of study, that he acted alone, but was probably motivated by his desire to become much more than he was, a misfit and weirdo who wanted to be special in some way, and also his desire to avenge his Cuban Communist brothers. Could Cuba have financed Oswald? Maybe. Garrison assembled a lot of facts, non-facts, and made up stories. He bribed people to lie to make his "case." Within Garrison's garbage of information, there may be a couple of true facts. Maybe there really was a Raoul? Maybe Raoul was a Cuban intelligence officer? I just think Castro had too many motivating factors to be dismissed.

While it is true that many military weapons are designed to maim instead of kill (grenades, mines) the reason military small arms ammo is FMJ, is because explosive, poisonous, hollow-point or frangible bullets are forbidden by the Hague Convention, which all NATO nations observe.

Talmud and Federal Reserve--Y'all need to check out this angle. Also some think Woody Harrelson's Dad was the guy on the Grassy Nole. he was a Hit Man for the Mob and was reportedly seen at the rail yard.

Abraham Zapruder was a Russian Jewish emigrant who loved JFK and loved the US

There was no conspiracy...it was just unfortunate that Mr. Zapruder happened to be on scene with his video camera on that fateful day. So sad that things had to turn out that way, and such a tragic and unfortunate coincidence.

Undisputed video evidence here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-s0AuYHp_Y

He was an avid filmmaker. However, he never used his camera again after November 22, 1963.

Lee Harvey Oswald was a Communist, who defected to the Soviet Union....

The Soviets kicked him out because they didn't see any use for him. He was extremely pro-Castro and was active in Fair Play For Cuba. He killed Kennedy because he thought Kennedy had humiliated Khruschev during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Oswald could make the shots because he had Marine Rifle Training.

I honestly think the CIA was involved, jfk had a lot of enemies. The fact that he was trying to de power the CIA and he was trying to get rid of the federal reserve(messing with a lot of big money people)(which I think needs to happen anyways). I never understood why we have a private institution governing our monetary policies is beyond me. They charge us interest to print our own money, which is not backed by gold or anything. To me it's the equivelant of getting money for nothing. Jfk had the vision of a debt free country and that we could eliminate the interest to print our money to pay off the debt then only use our own money which was going to be backed by silver.

Every doubt and theory expressed here and many more elsewhere have been hashed over millions of times and it comes down to one sentence. There is no physical evidence, no forensic evidence, and no witness testimony taken the day of the shooting that supports anything other than Lee Harvey Oswald firing 3 shots from his Mannlicher Carcano rifle from the 6th floor of the Texas School Book Depository killing President Kennedy.

Not saying there wasn't a conspiracy, just the evidence available doesn't support it. And for those mentioning the time, the thing most forget is the first shot starts the clock.

Also, the reason Kennedy was in Texas to start with, was because it wasn't clear he'd even the 1964 Democrat Nomination. He had to shore up what, for 90 years previously, had been solidly Democrat.

He was a Massachusetts Democrat but was by no means a Radical Leftist Regressive. He was pro-Life, solidly anti-Communist, and advocated Tax Cuts. His brother (Attorney General) ran wiretaps on Martin Luther King. He had Leftist, Idealist advisors and speechwriters, but he loved to buddy-buddy around with the good 'ol boy Southern Democrats, sharing whiskey and women with them.

The assassination turned Kennedy from a mediocre-at-best President who would struggle for re-election, to a Martyr who had a whole mythology created about him by those same speechwriters and mythmakers Kennedy used to mock and ignore.

Seems like he got back in the US pretty easily considering he defected. He was a United States marine who denounces his citizenship to go to the USSR In a time period when being a communist was a capital offense (Joseph McCarthy). it sure seems like he was readmitted to the US without much resistance. Pretty convenient.

Lone gunman. No doubt in my mind.

I've spent my life shooting bolt action rifles and I wasn't trained by the Marine Corps.

Oswald did it.

Lone nut, there is no conspiracy.
