I grew up in that part of the world in the 80's. The park used to be called Wild World before Six Flags bought it out. Wild World, King's Dominion, and Busch Gardens were all within 2 hours and I feel like we were constantly there. KD was my favorite.

Wild, Busch, Dominion.... Hmmm. I'm starting to wonder if I was somehow influenced as an adult by these places.

I'm thinking that an iconic roller coaster like that would be we sold and rebuilt elsewhere.

I know that the Starliner from Miracle Strip was slated to be put in Lego Land before that fell through. It was dismantled and put in a warehouse mid 2000's.

After riding all the new technology ones, the old ones are jarring as hell. I get the nostalgia but damn I’m approaching 50 so I’d rather not put myself through 90 seconds of bull in the ring.

Agreed. I love roller coasters but there’s a wood coaster at Dollywood that’ll shake the fillings out of your teeth
