I could go on all day but some folks need to use their amazing powers of observation.

Being self-righteous and at least pretending to care about others is not worse morally than being outright hateful and hating others.

It might be more annoying, but it's not worse morally.

Comedy used to be about punching up, not punching down. At some point - punching down was allowed because there's a market for it. It might be 1% of the population, but that 1% LOVES it.

Meanwhile you have normal comedians punching up and then taking the lazy route of making fun of the obviously funny thing. What's funnier to make a joke out of? Jasmine Crockett screeching to respect her or Marjorie Taylor-Greene yelling about Jewish space lasers.

Reality is, it's hard to make jokes about the left while punching up. It's easy to make them when punching down (coded racist/sexist jokes about Crockett, AOC, etc. are super easy).

What does “coded racist/sexist” mean ? Not sure what you are saying
