Or diabetes?...
True, but it also means less time in the old folks home wetting the bed.Life may be longer if you give up Italian and southern food****
See above and even if you're controlled, you still have diabetes. It's just managed with...His A1C is low enough it shouldn't be a problem.
I'm on it. Have been for about 7 years. Heart issues run in my family and I caught mine early enough that it seems to be under control. No side effects, just take it every day. I am on 60 mg once a day. Buy the 90 day supply; it's worth it.So… good news and bad news from my latest bloodwork.
Good news: My A1C is down to 5.7. It was 10.9 back in July. Diet, exercise, and metformin seems to have done the job so far.
Bad news: My cholesterol is still high, 204 total and 136 LDL, so my doctor wants to prescribe me 10 mg daily atorvastatin, which is also known as Lipitor.
Anybody have any experience with Lipitor? Side effects? Success?
I’m supposed to have my follow-up here shortly, so I’d love to hear any experiences.
