I don't think you can disable one of them. I'm thinking Presidential Alert or something silly like that.
I disable the ones settings allow me to…like when Apple came up with that ridiculous covid alert crap…a presidential one will be promptly deleted an unread…
I’ve disabled what I can…anything else will be ignored, unread, deleted…and treated with the well deserved contempt I feel for the worthless DC clown show.

I think this broadcast is a great idea. It's an opportunity to bring ALL of the people of this great country together for a momentary group hug. I think it's utterly bizarre that people are complaining about this.
I actually think it is a good idea. People complained in Hawaii about no warning about the winds and wildfires. Should there ever be a national or semi-national event, this is a useful tool to have.

good to test that these things work on all systems. I remember a test over cable TV once where both the broadcast network and the cable company did a test at the same time without fully masking each other, making them both impossible to understand.
