Time to upgrade my bow, and am looking at the new Heli m from Mathews. Anyone out there own one? Also, would like to know if any of you have dealt with what was formerly Bill's in Pearl or Mark's Outdoors in Birmingham lately. I believe that Bill may have sold part of the store since there is a name change? I travel a lot, so the proximity of the two wont really play in to my decision. I've been to many of the hunting forums, but know hunting is near and dear to many that frequent this board, so wanted to throw it out there. To make it football related, I hate the 11:00 games because it keeps me from squeezing in a morning hunt on those Saturdays.

I'm a huge Mathews fan, they have always fit me best and feel the best when I let the arrow go. I would make sure I shot all the other brands as well to make sure the heli m was what felt best as expensive as new bows are these days. All the top brands make quality stuff these days. I have really enjoyed my reezen 6.5 last couple of seasons. I use to spend alot of time at bills (before it changed hands) when living in Jackson area for PT school. Haven't been since it has changed hands but from all I've herd it's much more customer friendly than previously. You use to have a pretty thick skin going in there untill folks got to know you. To make it football related, I to hate early games for the same reasons. Although with a new baby at home dont think will be making many games this year so will make it home just I time for kick off on tv.

it is badass. that is all i can say. I haven't hunted with it because I bought it in February. But it is smooth as slick ice!....but like what was said, you just gotta shoot em all.....I love matthews stuff, and like them more than the hoyt stuff, yet my brother in law is exact opposite.....its like choosing your favorite beer.....I didn't know that Bill's changed names, but I will tell you, that man knows his stuff on bows....i wouldn't have bought it anywhere else.....you won't find hardly anyone spoken more highly of....

as far as football related, i don't get to hunt much or go to games due to two kids under the age of 5, but hopefully this year will change on both accounts...

Absolutely love it. Smooth, smooth, smooth. Light. I like it better than any bow I've ever shot. <div>If it's in your budget, I highly recommend it.</div><div>I can't wait for bow season.</div>
