Very interesting article. Comments at the bottom are equally as interesting. I find it fascinating how much hate there is for ESPN. It's still the first thing I turn on in the AM and my son and I watch (DVR watch) PTI daily. If I could only have one channel, it would be that one.

I use to watch ESPN programming religiously, it was about the only channel I watched. Hardly tune in anymore! Only use it to watch the live sports that they air. Haven't watched sportscenter in years.

Glad Fox is starting to do some things to compete with them. A lot of games are already streamed on-line and with more and more people "cutting the cord" the company/network that offers this on a larger scale will gain control on the market, IMHO.

i would love to cut the cord, but, i live in a rural community in sd. i haven't seen/found a way i can get all my sports coverage otherwise i would drop directv like a rock.
